Public Performance Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PPM) is a music copyright licensing body recognized under the Malaysian Copyright Act of 1987 and is wholly owned by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM). Both PPM and RIM are acknowledged as regional leaders for the recording industry in the collection of royalties for and protection of local and international sound, music video and karaoke recordings.
